I love art! Whether its crayons, paints, markers, gel pens, polymer clay and even rocks! I’ve always been a creative individual and enjoy making things like candles and jewelry and costuming. In the past, I used that same creative talent on the computer as a graphic artist and web designer creating logos, websites, promotional items and more. In 2007, after having brain surgery to remove a tumor from the right side of my brain, my talents shifted. What I used to do on the computer had become more difficult to accomplish, which left me very frustrated. Then after watching a few videos on art journaling I tried my hand at a little playful painting. What I found was that I had somehow gained a talent. I found painting, something I had tried many times in the past and failed at miserably. I find painting to be very therapeutic art and am anxious to learn a lot more about it in the years to come. When I’m not painting, I make jewelry, runes sets and other crafty things. Soon I hope to get back to making candles as well.
